WELCOME TO BEAUTIFUL ØSTERGAARD.
WHEN YOU VISIT US, YOU WILL HOPEFULLY ENJOY THE RELAXED ATMOSPHERE AND FALL AS MUCH IN LOVE WITH IT AS MUCH AS WE ARE.
YOU CLEARLY SENSE THE FARM'S HISTORY, WHICH CAN BE TRACED ALL THE WAY BACK TO 1688, WHEN IT WAS BOUGHT FREE BY THE ROYAL DANSIH FAMILY AFTER HAVING SERVED AS AN FARM FOR THE KINGS HORSEMEN.
DURING THE VISIT, YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO USE THE GARDEN WHERE THE ICELANDIC HORSES STAY, GO DOWN TO THE LAKE AND RELAX, OR TAKE A WALK ALONG THE ALLEY THROUGH THE FOREST DOWN TO THE BEACH, WHICH IS NO FURTHER AWAY THAN YOU CAN SEE FROM THE GARDEN.
WE WILL IN ANY CASE DO OUR BEST FOR YOU TO HAVE A WONDERFUL STAY :-)
THE MINI APARTMENTS
THE MINI APARTMENTS ARE COZYLY FURNISHED WITH A SMALL KITCHEN WITH TWO HOBS, A FRIDGE AND A MINI OVEN.
BESIDES A SMALL DINING TABLE, A DOUBLE BED, A SOFA BEDROOM AND A LARGE BATHROOM THAT IS SHARED WITH THE NEXT DOOR APARTMENT.

WE OFFER
A small play area
We have a small play area in the backyard that the children can use, we also have a treeswing and a trampoline you can use.
In addition, 2 larger playgrounds within walking distance.
The garden and the horses
The garden, the lake and the benches are for free use during the stay, just as the horses loves to be petted.
Remember that horses cannot tolerate bread, but loves an apple or a carrot.
Free Wi-Fi
We have lightning-fast fiber network available.
Cleaning
The bathrooms are cleaned daily, and cleaning when your stay ends, is included in the price.
Padel boards.
We have 2 padel boards that you can rent and take down to the beach and have a nice day with.

Food/restaurant
Right in "our backyard" is Båringskov Gl. Badehotel which has the most wonderful fish buffet, There is also Møllers Fiskehus with beautiful fresh fish and small fish dishes. Middelfart, which is nearby, offers many great options, just ask if you are looking for inspiration, just as there are addresses etc. for everything in the welcome folder in the apartments.
Grocery store
Within 500 meters is our local grocery store, which has a wide selection of everything you could wish for. If you want an even bigger selection, there are 2 large supermarkets in Brenderup, just a few kilometers away.

For the children
We have a small play area in the garden which can be used for free, and within a few hundred meters there are 2 playgrounds. You should definitely also visit the Nature Center in Middelfart, or Madsby playground in Fredericia, perhaps Dino's Playland or Fyn's summerland. There are addresses etc. for everything in the welcome folder in the apartments.

Horseback riding
There is the option of a wonderful guided horse ride via the abeautiful gravel road, through the forest down to the beach, it requires that you have a bit of experience in riding as the route is quite hilly.
There is also the option of a tow ride for the youngest children. See much more by clicking on the menu item "Horses" at the top of the page.
Walk in the area.
On the left hand side of the farm starts the beautiful Lykkegaardsvej, which meanders fantastically beautifully through the landscape via the gravel road through the forest, where the stream follows the path all the way down to the most beautiful beach.
It is a wonderful trip that you absolutely should take.
The farm square
The cobbled courtyard invites you to relax, sit outside and enjoy breakfast or dinner, or relax with a glass of wine before bed.
